What kind of shoe is best to paint on?
The ideal paintable shoe is a well crafted shoe that is more firm than flexible. If the shoe is not well made it may have a shorter lifespan and eventually the shoe and paint will wear. We want our inspired creations to be a part of your wardrobe for many years to come.
What kind of accessories are best to paint on?
As well as shoes, The Painted Sole also hand paints hats, handbags, clutches, wallets, belts and ties.
The Painted Sole Process
All accessories are hand-painted (free-hand) with acrylic paint. Depending on the surface and condition, the accessory may be cleaned and prepped with a fine sanding prior to painting. When the hand painted accessory is complete, it is sealed with an acrylic fixative and a suede/fabric protector to defend against dirt and moisture.

Painted Sole commissions are none refundable after receipt of a security deposit.
